Phonics Games To Play at Home
This term we are working on long vowel sound pictures for reading and spelling. At home why not play some of the games from the Words and Pictures web site together.
We are also practicing writing sentences, using full stops and capital letters. We have been playing silly sentence games in class and are sure that the children will enjoy, practicing these with you too at home.

Literacy Target Activities
When we discussed this terms learning targets, during our TLCs, we highlighted the use of full stops (.), capital letters, exclamation marks (!) and question marks (?) as the area we wanted to focus on. This fantastic resource “The Magic Key” from the BBC website, has a number of games and activities, we would like to use to support our work, but they would also be great for you and your child to use and work on at home.
