The new Primary Literacy Framework places a high priority on learning to touch type. We are beginning this process with the children in Year 3 this year, and if you want to have, a real giggle and learn to touch type, a valuable life skill, alongside your child why not do it the Dance Mat way. Dance Mat Touch Typing from The BBC is a really good fun way for you and your child, to learn how to type more quickly and without looking at the keyboard.
As you can’t see, this is something I am still working very hard to master I had great fun on the Dance Mat this afternoon, I hope you enjoy it too.
