A visitor From Wales

Mr Harrington, a teacher from Cefn Fforest Primary School listened to our Young Henry VIII poetry Podcast on 7th November, and left us a message, and an acrostic of his own too.  This is what he said…

Great Acrostic Poems Year 3

Happy like a young Henry
Enjoyable like a lolly
Nourishing like fresh water
Rhyming like an ode
Youthful like a Year 3 pupils

Thank You, we hope you enjoyed our poems.  Mr Mills says your students podcast and blog too.  We look forward to visiting your blog, and having a peep at your wiki.

Morning Comes by Mosquito Class

26 09 2007

We have been reading Morning by Grace Nicholls, and have used this lovely poem as a frame to write our own class poem, about what morning brings to us…

Morning comes with the sun rising,

Morning comes with Miya crying.

Morning comes dragging me out of bed,

Morning comes with an angry rush.

Morning comes with Hollie Laughing,

Morning comes with Lilly jiggling.

Morning comes with the toaster popping,

Morning comes with us just listening.

How does morning arrive in your house. What does she bring with her?
